ZA Handicrafts is dedicated to promoting the culture of Gilgit-Baltistan while empowering local women through financial independence by bringing region-specific handicrafts to market. The company offers a range of handmade products, such as handbags, wallets, clothing, and home decor, blending modern fashion with traditional culture. With a low-cost operating model that incentivizes women to work from home, the business is increasing its production capacity to meet growing demand. In 2020, over 1 million PKR was paid to 63 women for their hand-stitching services, and the company plans to expand by creating over 100 more jobs in the next three years.
